Privacy Policy

1. Overview

ConstellationX Inc., located at 3650 Coral Ridge Dr STE 111, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33065, U.S.A. ("ConstellationX," "we," "us," or "our"), provides this notice to describe our personal information handling practices for individuals who interact with us, including visitors to our website, individuals who contact us, event attendees, job applicants, and representatives of our customers, vendors, and business partners. This notice does not cover the practices of any other company, and it does not create any contractual right or guarantee of any particular data-handling practice beyond what is required by applicable law. We reserve the right to modify our practices as our business evolves, subject to the notice provisions in Section 9.

This notice sets out the basis on which we may collect, use, retain, and disclose personal data. This notice does NOT cover personal data that ConstellationX processes as a service provider or processor on behalf of our government and enterprise customers (each, a "Customer") in connection with the ConstellationX platform — for example, case records, video, sensor data, or other information a Customer’s personnel input into or generate through the platform. That data is governed exclusively by the applicable Customer Agreement, and any request concerning it must be directed to the relevant Customer, not to ConstellationX.

ConstellationX provides a real-time intelligence platform that integrates law enforcement and public safety agencies’ existing systems — including CAD, RMS, body-worn camera, license plate reader, and surveillance systems — through AI agents that enable cross-jurisdictional collaboration and a shared operational picture. All software, models, workflows, analytics methodologies, and other technology underlying the platform, and all aggregate or de-identified data and insights derived from any information we process, are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of ConstellationX, regardless of the source of the underlying data.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal data in the following ways, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

(i) Information you give to us: name, email, phone number, group memberships, organization ID and details, and any other information you choose to submit through forms, interactive tools, correspondence, or job applications.

(ii) Information we collect automatically: through cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies, we and our analytics and advertising partners collect web analytics information (IP address and IP-based geolocation, browser and device information, operating system, referring source, and similar data) and information about your site visit (URLs, clickstream, pages viewed, time on page, interactions, and browse-away behavior).

(iii) Information we receive from other sources: recruiting services (resume, job title, job history); Customers, vendors, and business partners (name, title, business contact information of their representatives); data brokers, marketing partners, and publicly available sources, to the extent permitted by law; and information generated by us through analysis, inference, or aggregation of the foregoing, which we own outright as described in Section 1.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal data for any purpose permitted by applicable law, including to:

provide, personalize, secure, and improve the site and our services.
conduct research, testing, analytics, and product development, including developing and training analytics models and improving the ConstellationX platform.
market and sell our services, including through targeted advertising.
correspond with you and send communications we believe may interest you.
enforce our agreements, protect our rights, property, and personnel, and pursue or defend legal claims.
comply with, and cooperate with authorities in connection with, applicable law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or other legal process.

4. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal data, in our sole discretion and to the fullest extent permitted by law, to:

our affiliates and subsidiaries, for any business purpose.
service providers, including hosting, cloud infrastructure, technology, and communications providers.
analytics and advertising partners, such as Meta, LinkedIn, Bing, Reddit, and Google Analytics, which may set cookies and receive identifiers and usage data directly from your browser or device.
representatives of a Customer, vendor, or business partner where you act on that organization’s behalf.
any government, law enforcement, or regulatory authority, in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with law, protect the rights, property, or safety of ConstellationX, our personnel, our Customers, or the public, or investigate or prevent fraud, security, or technical issues — and we may do so without notice to you, to the extent permitted by law.
a prospective or actual acquirer, investor, lender, or successor, and their advisors, in connection with any actual or prospective merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of our assets, in which case personal data will be one of the transferred business assets.
any other third party, with your consent or as otherwise permitted by law.

We are not responsible for the privacy or data practices of any third party once your information has been disclosed to them in accordance with this notice, except as required by applicable law.

5. Aggregate and De-Identified Data

We may create aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data from personal data we collect. Such data is not personal data, and we may use, disclose, license, sell, and otherwise exploit it for any purpose, in our sole discretion, without restriction and without further notice to or consent from you, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We will maintain such data in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify it, except to verify that our de-identification methods satisfy applicable legal requirements.

6. International Data Transfers

Your personal data is primarily processed in the United States, and may be transferred to, stored, and processed by our affiliates and service providers in other jurisdictions as our business requires. We do not currently have offices, personnel, or Customers located in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area and do not knowingly process the personal data of individuals located there; if that changes, we will implement any cross-border transfer mechanism required by applicable law, but nothing in this Section limits our right to transfer, process, or disclose data as otherwise described in this notice.

7. Data Security and Retention

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge and accept the inherent risk of transmitting information over the internet, and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, ConstellationX disclaims all liability for unauthorized access to or disclosure of your personal data that occurs despite our reasonable safeguards.

We retain personal data for as long as we determine, in our sole discretion, is necessary or useful for our legitimate business purposes, for compliance with applicable law, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, and in any event for the longer of any such period or any minimum period required by applicable law.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or to withdraw consent where our processing is based on consent. California residents may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information as described in the California Consumer Privacy Act Disclosures below. Any right you may have under applicable law is subject to any applicable exceptions and our ability to reasonably verify your identity. To exercise any right, contact us using the information in Section 10. We may decline requests that are not verifiable, unreasonable, or that would adversely affect the rights of others or our ability to operate our business, protect our systems, or comply with law.

9. Changes to This Notice

We may amend this notice at any time in our sole discretion by posting the revised notice on the Website, effective as of the date posted unless we state otherwise. Your continued interaction with ConstellationX following any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised notice. We are not obligated to provide any more direct or individualized notice of a change than posting the revised notice.

11. Dispute Resolution; Limitation of Liability

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this notice or our data practices is subject to the binding arbitration provision, class-action waiver, limitation of liability, and governing law provisions set forth in our Terms of Use, which are incorporated into this notice by reference. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ConstellationX’s aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to this notice or our data practices shall not exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100).

UK and European Economic Area (EEA) Individuals

ConstellationX does not currently have offices, personnel, or Customers located in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, and we do not knowingly collect or process the personal data of individuals located there. Accordingly, we have not adopted a separate UK/EU GDPR supplemental notice at this time. If our operations expand into the UK or EEA, we will publish an appropriate supplemental notice and identify our relevant legal bases for processing before we begin processing personal data of individuals located there.

California Consumer Privacy Act Disclosures

These California Consumer Privacy Act Privacy Disclosures are provided by ConstellationX Inc., located at 3650 Coral Ridge Dr STE 111, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33065, U.S.A. ("ConstellationX"), and apply solely to California residents ("consumers" or "you") with respect to personal information ConstellationX processes as a business, to the extent no CCPA exception or exemption applies. These disclosures do not cover personal information ConstellationX processes as a service provider on behalf of our law enforcement and public safety Customers — see Section 1 above.

1. Notices at Collection

We have set out below the categories of personal information about California resident website visitors, prospective and current Customers, corporate representatives of our vendors and other partners, and job applicants and other potential workers. The California Consumer Privacy Act Privacy Policy is in Section 2 of these disclosures.

Website Visitors

We disclose personal information collected about website visitors to advertising partners to provide website visitors with more interesting and customized information, promotions, and advertising, which is considered "selling" and "sharing" under the CCPA. You can opt out as described under CCPA Rights below.

Categories of Personal Information

Any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is capable of being associated with, a particular individual, including, but not limited to, his or her name, address, telephone number, employment, but excluding publicly available information that is lawfully made available to the general public from federal, state, or local government records.
Commercial information, including records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
Internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding a consumer's interaction with an internet website, application, or advertisement.
Geolocation data.
Professional or employment-related information.
Inferences drawn from any personal information to create a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer's preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.

Purposes: providing, customizing, and improving the site; marketing and selling the site and our services; corresponding with you; and meeting legal requirements and enforcing legal terms — see Section 3 above for the full list.

Retention: for the longer of as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained, and any additional time necessary for compliance with laws, exercise or defense of legal rights, and archiving, back-up, and deletion processes.

Job Applicants or Other Potential Workers

In your role as a website visitor, we disclose your personal information to advertising partners to provide website visitors with more interesting and customized information, promotions, and advertising, which is considered "selling" and "sharing" under the CCPA. You can opt out as described under CCPA Rights below.

Inferences drawn from any personal information to create a profile reflecting the consumer's preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.
A consumer's social security, driver's license, state identification card, or passport number.
A consumer's account log-in, financial account, debit card, or credit card number in combination with any required security or access code, password, or credentials allowing access to an account.

Purposes: administering and processing your application; determining your suitability for the role(s) for which you applied or for similar roles within ConstellationX; determining the need to provide appropriate adjustments or accommodations during the recruitment process or employment; determining your eligibility to work in the jurisdiction; conducting background checks as part of your application; conducting internal audits and workplace investigations; compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and employment-related requirements; supporting any claim or defense ConstellationX may face before any jurisdictional or administrative authority, arbitration, or mediation panel; cooperating with or informing law enforcement or regulatory authorities to the extent required by law; authentication and security purposes; and completing the onboarding/new hire process, should you be offered and accept a position at ConstellationX.

Retention: until the withdrawal or rejection of your application, or if you are engaged by ConstellationX, until the end of your working relationship with us, plus 4 years, and any additional time periods necessary for compliance with laws, exercise or defense of legal rights, and archiving, back-up, and deletion processes.

Corporate Representatives of Customers, Prospective Customers, Vendors, and Other Partners

Purposes: providing our services and responding to inquiries; managing our business operations and administering our Customer, vendor, and partner relationships; providing relevant marketing about services that may be of interest to you; and addressing compliance and legal obligations, such as tax reporting, identity verification, and fraud/money-laundering prevention.

Retention: until we determine that ConstellationX will not be engaged by, or will not engage, the Customer, vendor, or partner, or if engaged, until the end of such engagement, plus any additional time periods necessary for compliance with laws, exercise or defense of legal rights, and archiving, back-up, and deletion processes.

2. California Consumer Privacy Act Privacy Policy

We have set out below categories of personal information about California residents we have collected, and as applicable disclosed, in the preceding 12 months. The table is followed by a description of the purposes for which we collected personal information. If we process de-identified information, we will maintain it in deidentified form and not attempt to reidentify it, except that we may attempt to reidentify the information solely to determine whether the deidentification processes used satisfy legal requirements.

We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share, for cross-context behavioral advertising, the personal information of California residents under 16 years of age.

CCPA Rights

The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We disclose identifiers and internet activity information to advertising partners in exchange for benefits, which is considered "selling" and "sharing" under the CCPA. You may opt out by emailing legal@constellationx.ai or by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser.
The right to limit use of sensitive personal information to purposes permitted by Cal. Civil Code § 1798.121(a).
The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your CCPA rights.
The right to know, delete, and correct personal information, subject to our right to decline unverifiable, unreasonable, excessive, or legally exempt requests, and subject to a limit of two requests to know per 12-month period.

Verification: We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting on a request, and may decline a request we cannot verify. We will only use information submitted in a request to verify identity and fulfill the request.

Opt-Out Preference Signals: We honor Global Privacy Control signals as described at https://globalprivacycontrol.org/.

Authorized Agents: You may use an authorized agent to submit a request as permitted under the CCPA; we may require proof of the agent’s authorization and independent verification of your identity.

Dispute Resolution: Any dispute regarding these disclosures or our CCPA practices is subject to the arbitration, class-action waiver, and limitation-of-liability provisions of our Terms of Use, incorporated herein by reference.
